What's covered

CRST warrants each product against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for the applicable coverage period. If a covered product fails — a switch that quits, a port that stops charging, surge protection that drops out — we'll repair it, replace it, or refund it at our discretion.

This warranty applies to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It covers products bought on this store or through an authorized CRST channel.

Coverage periods

The coverage period runs from the date of delivery shown on your order. Keep your order confirmation or receipt as proof of purchase — you'll need it to file a claim.

Register & extend to 36 months

Registration is free and takes under a minute. It doubles your coverage to a full three years and lets us reach you fast if there's ever a safety notice on your model.

1. Find your order number (#CRST-…) from your confirmation email.
2. Submit it using the registration form at the top of this page (or our contact page) — that's all we need.
3. You're set. We'll confirm your extended coverage and the end date by email.

Connected-equipment protection

Our surge-rated models include a connected-equipment warranty: if a properly connected device is damaged by a power surge while plugged into a working CRST surge protector, we'll help cover the repair or replacement up to the limit stated on that product's page, subject to claim review.

To stay eligible, the strip must be used within its rated limits, with surge protection active (the protection-status light on). MOVs wear out over time — when that light goes dark, the surge core has done its job and the strip should be replaced.

What's not covered

• Damage from misuse, abuse, accidents, or exceeding the product's rated amperage/wattage.
• Normal wear, cosmetic marks, and consumable wear of surge components after they've absorbed surges.
• Damage from improper installation, modification, or unauthorized repair.
• Damage from fire, flood, or other acts of nature unrelated to a product defect.
• Products with removed or altered serial/date labels, and items not purchased through an authorized channel.

Filing a warranty claim

1. Reach out via the contact form or info@crsttech.com with your order number and proof of purchase.
2. Describe the issue and include a photo or short video if you can — it speeds up review.
3. We assess and, for a covered defect, arrange a repair, replacement, or refund. We cover return shipping on valid warranty claims.

Most claims are resolved within a few business days of us receiving the details.

Product liability insurance

Beyond the warranty, CRST products are backed by $3,000,000 in product liability insurance. For procurement teams that need it, a Certificate of Insurance (COI) is available on request. This insurance is separate from, and does not replace, the warranty terms above.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights that vary by state. Nothing here limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.
